To Rome with Love is an extraordinary Romantic comedy and a reminder of how ingenius a filmmaker Woody Allen is,

The film is is told in four separate vignettes is about a number of people in Italy -- some American, some Italian, some residents, some visitors -- and the romances and adventures and predicaments they get into.

The plot is a genius work of art, the main moral (as there is one in every Woody Allen masterpiece) is be happy with what you have and that what you want doesn't always leave you satisfied. Woody Allen really knows how to write a a romantic film that's both clever and original.

Next I'm gonna talk about the cast and I mean it when I say Woody Allen has an excellent taste because this film featured a terrific cast, Woody Allen himself, Roberto Benigni, Penélope Cruz, Alec Baldwin, Judy Davis, Jesse Eisenberg, Greta Gerwig, Ellen Page, Fabio Armiliato, Alessandra Mastronardi, the whole cast was wonderful, and as the film goes on we realise they have their own problems and it's joy to watch them trying to solve them throughout the film,

Woody Allen's directing is fun, the production design is impressive (capturing the flare and cookyness of Italy), the cinematography is beautiful, the costume design is authentic, gorgeous Italian setting, I would like to add that the music is just excellent, it also excites the intellect as well as the adrenaline glands (there's a sense of intensity) and the humor is clever and offbeat.

To Rome with Love is possibly Woody Allen second best film to date and a Romantic comedy that never wears, 4/5
