Review 666: The Forgiven

  

Based on the novel The Forgiven by Lawrence Osborne; Married couple David and Jo Henninger (Ralph Fiennes and Jessica Chastain respectively) travel to a party in Morocco to ease the strain that's been building between them. On the way, they accidently hit-and-run a young Moroccon teenager holding a fossil.

The Moroccon setting is vibrant and exotic bringing with it a strong sense of danger

As the film goes on Ralph Fiennes' David is forced to eat some humble pie
