Review 750: Sing Sing
Not a lot happens in Sing Sing, but its sure hand behind the camera and a magnetic performance by Colmong Domingo make it a wholy worthwile viewing.
Sing Sing is, at its core, a film about the transformative and theraputic powef of performing arts
the score by Bryce Dessner is movingly poignant,
Colmon Domingo is at the top of his game in the role of John "Devine G" Whitfield, Throughout the film, he's surrounded by a cast largly made up of non-professional former incarcerated men who were part of the program themselves.
