During the Great Recession, recently unemployed construction worker and single father, Dennis Nash (Andrew Garfield) and his family including his mother Lynn Nash (Laura Dern) and his son Connor (Noah Lomax) are evicted from their home by business man Rick Carver (Michael Shannon)

 

Andrew Garfield, Michael Shannon and Laura Dern are superb in this film.
