Aleem Khan (in his directional debut)

Joanna Scanlan, in a part that doesn't require (or even need) a lot of dialogue, is mesmirising in the role of Mary Hussain  Because she's wearing a hijab and her manner seems subservient, she's mistaken for a cleaning lady by Genevieve who then invites her into her home where Mary becomes a different person.

4.5/5
