I remember back in late 2017 when sexual misconduct allegations against Harvey Weinstein exploded into. The media fed on it with a frenzy. For them, the world had stopped. For the rest of us, it was only the beginning.

Based on the nonfiction book She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement by Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey, In 2017, New York Times journalists Jodi Kantor (Zoe Kazan) and Megan Twohey (Carey Mulligan) work to expose film producer Harvey Weinstein’s history of abuse and sexual misconduct against women. 

One of the films innovations is to keep Harvey Weinstein himself offscreen for the majority of the runtime baring voice overs via telephone calls. His presence are felt throughout the film as a result
