Based on the memoir Elvis and Me by Priscilla Presley and Sandra Harmon; In 1959, 14-year old Priscilla Beaulieu (Cailee Spaeny) is residing with her family in Bad Nauheim, Germany. At a party at the U.S. Military base where her father (Ari Cohen) works, she meets Elvis Presley (Jacob Elordi) who has been drafted into the military at the peak of his popularity. Elvis takes an immediate interest in Priscilla and the two embark on a whirlwind romance.

As the title suggests, the story is told from Priscilla's perspective.

At its core, Priscilla is a love story between these two people. Coppola never shys away from showing how destructive Elvis and Priscilla's relationship was from the start. She  She also goes to great pains to show how isolated she becomes during her relationship with Elvis wether it be on the coach at home or at school.

The film features a killer soundtrack feautirng (anachronistic) greats like The Romones's cover of Baby, I Love You

Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi are mesmirising in this film as Priscilla and Elvis
