Review 129: Kung Fu Panda 2
Kung Fu Panda 2 is an amazing sequel, one that builds and expands on its predecessor in all the best ways, action, humour and character development.
The storyline is unbelievably predictable and has been done loads of times but with the way it’s written and acted, it’s almost aware that it’s cliche and it has fun with it and has a lot of heart to it.
Director Jennifer Yu Nelson’s animation direction is fluid and the animation is gorgeous, wonderfully creating the fantasy wuxia inspired version of China with loads of detail and capturing it’s beauty. The actions scenes and fast paced and hilariously exciting, the score by Hans Zimmer and John Powell is tremendous, the production design is magnificent and beautifuly detailed, the character design is
Once again, the voice acting is superb, Jack Black once again,
Gary Oldman is splendidly cast as Lord Shen
